Today's sketch of the day is inspired by what I'm doing this weekend. I'm going to the Roozengaarde garden, and it's filled with tulips. Rows and rows of tulips. It's beautiful. You can see more here. So, I sketched this little baby in 10 minutes, the usual requirement for my sketches, and I hope you like it, or give useful feedback on it. Thanks! 'Till the 'morrow, readers.

Sketch of the Day #3
This is my totally crappy sunset that is in desperate need of a scanner. I was thinking of spring break, my ideal spring break. At the beach, some tropical island... Nope, I'm in rainy Washington.
Until next time, readers!

Sketch of the Day #2
Yes, I know, I know, I'm sorry this is late, my computer was being occupied from day to night. I'll make it up with two sketches today!! I'm sorry!
So, this sketch is dedicated to my friend Ben today/yesterday (hi Ben!), and he is obsessed with penguins. And I just thought of him while watching Frozen Planet on the Discovery Channel. So here is my penguin cutie pie!And I know, I'm getting to the scanner. I don't have access to one for a week or so, so be patient, please!

Sketch of the Day: #1
So, I've decided to do a sketch of the day, yay, to sharpen up my horrible skills of drawingness and just display what I can sketch in 10-20 minutes.
Recently, I've wanted to draw a mermaid, or ten, because they are so dang pretty. So here is my version of a headshot of an uncompleted thought. Of a mermaid. I'm working on it. Yes, I totally suck at drawing, and yes, it's not very good picture quality, and I'm working on it. This was a quick picture, and next time I'm going to get my sketchbook to a scanner.

HEY! YOU THERE!
OH HI THERE.
Hello world, this is Mai spea-typing. Typing. This is my second blog, and it will be, pretty much, about art. My drawings, other people's drawings, inspirational things in the world, and that's about it. Anything that I think that should be defined as art. It may be architecture, paintings, books, drawings, anything that you can see, and is remotely interesting to moi. Thanks, okay, I'll get a posting soon! :)
