Sketch of the Day: #1

So, I've decided to do a sketch of the day, yay, to sharpen up my horrible skills of drawingness and just display what I can sketch in 10-20 minutes.

Recently, I've wanted to draw a mermaid, or ten, because they are so dang pretty. So here is my version of a headshot of an uncompleted thought. Of a mermaid. I'm working on it. Yes, I totally suck at drawing, and yes, it's not very good picture quality, and I'm working on it. This was a quick picture, and next time I'm going to get my sketchbook to a scanner.

Hello world, this is Mai spea-typing. Typing. This is my second blog, and it will be, pretty much, about art. My drawings, other people's drawings, inspirational things in the world, and that's about it. Anything that I think that should be defined as art.
